The purpose of this weblog is to demonstrate how versatile a weblog alone can be for a variety of educational activities – namely social media tools for teaching and learning and music theory. This weblog was created in anticipation of the Association for Technology in Music Instruction (ATMI) national conference in Salt Lake City, November 2007. I presented a workshop on Web 2.0 for music education. In September 2008, I participate in an ATMI “Showcase Presentation.” My electronic poster is titled “All (a)Twitter for Music” and will discuss how to use micro-blogging tools as educational and networking resources.
